Why a review is rejected and how to fix it

آخر تحديث 7/23/2026

If your experience wasn't approved, you'll always know why: the reviewer writes a specific reason, and it appears in your notification and on the experience's status page.

Two different outcomes

  • Returned for revision — the most common case. Something fixable needs your attention. You'll see the reason plus an Edit and Resubmit button.
  • Rejected permanently — reserved for serious problems (fake, copied, or abusive content). Permanent rejections can't be resubmitted.

Common reasons experiences get returned

Video problems

  • Too short, blurry, or too dark to be useful
  • Doesn't clearly show the actual product
  • Copied from the internet or another creator (originality is required)

Story problems

  • Description too brief — a line or two isn't a story; aim for a few detailed sentences about what you experienced
  • Text doesn't match the video or photos
  • Reads like an advertisement rather than a genuine experience

Rating problems

  • Stars contradict the words (a 5-star rating with a complaint-filled story, or vice versa)

Other

  • Wrong or misleading category
  • Photos unrelated to the product
  • Content that violates the community guidelines

How to fix and resubmit

  1. Open the experience — from the notification or your experiences list.
  2. Read the reviewer's reason carefully; it tells you exactly what to address.
  3. Tap Edit and Resubmit. Everything is editable again: video, photos, title, story, ratings, category.
  4. Fix all the issues mentioned (and glance over the rest while you're there).
  5. Resubmit. Your experience returns to the review queue as Pending Approval.

There's no penalty for having an experience returned — take the feedback, improve it, and resubmit. If you'd rather not, you can also delete the experience.

A note on rejected experience media

Media belonging to permanently rejected experiences is removed from our storage after a few days. If you want to keep your video or photos, make sure you have your own copies.
