How review approval works

آخر تحديث 7/23/2026

Nothing on MyEx publishes automatically. Every experience is checked by a trained human reviewer before it goes live — that's what keeps MyEx trustworthy.

The journey of your experience

  1. You submit. Your experience enters the review queue with the status Pending Approval. While it's pending, it's locked — you can't edit it.
  2. A reviewer picks it up. A trained reviewer who works in your experience's language examines it: the video, the photos, your written story, your ratings, and the category.
  3. A supervisor signs off. Experiences that pass review get a final check before publishing.
  4. You get the result as a notification:
    • Approved — "Great news! Your review has been approved and is now live!" Your experience is published and visible to the community, and it may earn a cash reward in your wallet.
    • Returned for revision — the reviewer sends it back with a specific written reason; you can edit and resubmit.
    • Rejected — for serious issues (fake, copied, or abusive content), an experience can be rejected permanently.

What reviewers check

  • The video — clear, original (filmed by you), and actually showing the product.
  • The photos — clear and relevant.
  • The story — coherent, detailed, and consistent with the video and photos.
  • The ratings — your stars should logically match what you wrote.
  • The category — correct for the product.

Reviewers may also polish your experience before publishing — fixing the title, wording, or category — but they never change your opinion or meaning.

How long does it take?

Review time varies with the queue and your experience's language. You don't need to check back — MyEx notifies you the moment there's a decision. (You can manage these alerts in Notification preferences.)

While it's pending

  • You can't edit a pending experience. If you spot a mistake, wait for the decision; if it's returned, fix everything at once.
  • You can delete it if you change your mind entirely.

If it's returned or rejected

Don't take it personally — returns are usually about fixable quality issues, and the reason is always stated. See Why a review is rejected and how to fix it.
