Notification preferences

Huling na-update 10/6/2026

You decide what MyEx notifies you about. Open Settings → Notifications to manage five switches — changes save instantly.

The five switches

  • Pause All — temporarily silences everything below in one tap.
  • Notifications on Your Favourites — a new experience was published in a category you saved. (On by default)
  • Notifications on Review Status — your experience was approved, or returned with a reason. (On by default)
  • Likes on your Reviews — someone liked one of your experiences. (On by default)
  • Comments on your Reviews — someone commented on one of your experiences. (On by default)

How Pause All behaves

  • Turning Pause All on switches the other four off.
  • Turning any single notification back on automatically ends the pause.

So after a pause, just re-enable the ones you want — no need to touch Pause All itself.

What these switches control

These preferences control MyEx's push notifications and in-app alerts for community and review activity.

A few messages are always sent regardless of settings, because they're about your account's security and operation: email verification, password reset, and account deletion notices. These arrive by email.

Suggested setups

  • Stay in the loop (default): everything on — know immediately when your experience is approved or someone engages with it.
  • Just the essentials: keep Review Status on, switch off likes and comments — you'll never miss an approval or a rejection reason, without the social noise.
  • Deep focus: Pause All — remember your review-status updates pause too; check your experiences list for results.

Not getting notifications?

  1. Check Pause All isn't on.
  2. Check the specific switch is on.
  3. Check your device's system settings allow the MyEx app to send notifications.
  4. If push still doesn't arrive, log out and back in — this re-registers your device.
