Professional Experience Creation Guide

How to create a clear, honest, and useful experience that passes review and can earn a reward.

Download Guide (PDF)

Welcome to MyEx. We don't sell you a product and we don't accept forced reviews — we build a place where the real experience is the starting point. Your experience can help someone make a better decision, and MyEx may reward you for it.

This guide explains, step by step, what makes an experience strong, how it is reviewed, and how rewards are calculated. We recommend reading it fully before you submit your first experience.

How does MyEx work?

1. You share a real experience

You film your experience with a product or service you actually used, and add video, photos, a description, and a rating.

2. The experience is reviewed

Each experience goes through technical and human review to verify completeness, clarity, usefulness, and compliance with platform standards.

3. The experience becomes discoverable

Once approved, the experience appears to users interested in that product, category, or market.

4. Commerce opportunities appear clearly

When a purchase link, promo code, or affiliate opportunity exists, it is added separately and clearly — without changing your opinion or rating.

What makes an experience strong?

The more complete these elements are, the higher your experience's quality and its chances of approval and reward:

  • A clear video explaining real, hands-on use of the product or service.
  • Real photos of the product or service that you took yourself.
  • A clear, useful title that summarizes your experience.
  • A detailed description of what you liked and what you didn't.
  • An honest rating, free of exaggeration.
  • The product or service link, when available.

Step by step: creating your experience

Follow these steps in the app when creating a new experience:

1. Record a real video

Show the product or service clearly and explain what actually happened from your own use. Use good lighting and audible sound.

2. Add clear photos

Upload useful photos that support your experience and help buyers understand the product. Set one as the cover.

3. Write a title and description

A short title that summarizes your opinion, and a description that explains the main benefit, issue, or comparison, and why it suited you or not.

4. Choose the right category

Pick the product or service category (beauty, electronics, home, travel, health, fashion, digital services, and more) so it reaches the right audience.

5. Add ratings

Use the rating attributes to summarize your experience in a clear, structured, and honest way.

6. Add the product link when available

If there is a purchase link or promo code, add it to make the product easier to reach. The link does not change your opinion.

7. Stay honest and respectful

You can be positive or negative, but the content must stay factual, respectful, and based on real use.

What we accept and what we don't

We accept

  • Honest positive experiences.
  • Respectful negative experiences.
  • Mixed experiences.
  • Comparisons between products and services.
  • Experiences for both digital and physical products and services.
  • Experiences with video, photos, a clear description, and an honest rating.

We reject

  • Copied or non-original content.
  • Ads disguised as a personal experience.
  • Paid or forced reviews.
  • Insults, defamation, or unproven claims.
  • Misleading content unrelated to the product.
  • Unauthorized external links.

Credibility index and rewards

The reward depends on the experience's quality, completeness, credibility, and user engagement. The MyEx credibility index runs from 0 to 10:

0 to 3Reward: SAR 5
3 to 7Reward: SAR 10 to 50
7 to 10Reward: SAR 50 to 300

Submitting an experience does not mean it is automatically accepted. It must be original, clear, useful, and compliant with MyEx standards.

Common mistakes that lead to rejection

  • An unclear video, or one that doesn't actually show the product.
  • A generic or copied description that doesn't reflect a real experience.
  • Excessive praise or criticism without detail.
  • Insults or unproven accusations in negative experiences.
  • Content unrelated to the product, or misleading content.

Checklist before submitting

Make sure of these points before submitting your experience:

  • The video is clear and explains your real use.
  • The photos are real and taken by you.
  • The title is clear and useful.
  • The description explains what you liked and didn't.
  • The rating is honest and not exaggerated.
  • You added the product link if available.
  • The content is respectful and based on a real experience.
